Aside from existing remains and historical sites, craftsmanship, just like oral history, is an intangible form of cultural heritage that is equally important and worth our appreciation. By recruiting former and current villagers of Fu Tei Au, we wish to set up hands-on workshops through which people can learn the traditional ways of sourcing and crafting, thus to preserve and perpetuate conventional values and knowledge, or even more, to reshape the old ways by adopting its usage and wisdom into modern day use.
